Students find your course via your tichr.ac landing page, click to enroll, and pay through the checkout flow. After payment, they get immediate access to their student dashboard and the first available lesson. If drip delivery is enabled, new lessons unlock on the schedule you've configured.

Yes. You can manually add students to your course from the student management panel, useful for beta testers, complimentary enrollments, or students who paid through another channel.

Yes. Your dashboard shows per-student progress: which lessons they've completed, how far through the course they are, and when they last logged in. This helps you identify students who may need a nudge to continue.

Yes. Owners and Admins can remove any student from a course at any time through the student management panel. The student will lose access immediately.

The Free plan supports up to 50 students and the Starter plan supports up to 200 students. The Creator and Studio plans support unlimited students. If you're growing fast, upgrading your plan removes the student cap entirely.

Other platforms start at $119/month and charge extra for features like landing pages, A/B testing, and analytics. tichr is built to include everything you need to run a course business at a fraction of that cost. The Free plan alone gets you further than most platforms' paid tiers.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the new features become available immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you downgrade and have more active courses than your new plan allows, you'll be asked to archive the extras before the change takes effect.

Paid plans do not charge platform transaction fees on top of payment processor fees. The Free plan may have a small transaction fee. Standard payment processor fees (Stripe or similar) apply to all plans. These are set by the payment processor, not tichr.

An active course is any published course that is currently open for enrollment or has active students. Draft courses and archived courses do not count toward your plan's course limit. You can have as many drafts as you like on any plan.

Course revenue is processed through the payment integration and paid out to your connected account on a regular schedule. You can connect your bank account or Stripe account from the billing settings in your dashboard.

tichr supports global payments, allowing students from around the world to enroll and pay in their local currency. You set your course price and currency, and the payment processor handles conversion where applicable.

Yes. You can issue full or partial refunds to students directly from your dashboard. Refunds are processed back to the student's original payment method. You control your own refund policy; tichr does not impose a platform-level refund window.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll retain access to your current plan's features until the end of the billing period. Your course content and student data are not deleted immediately on cancellation.

Yes. Annual billing is available and offers a significant discount compared to paying month-to-month. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your account settings.

There are five roles in the team system:

• Owner: Full control over the course, including deletion and ownership transfer
• Admin: Can edit settings, manage students, view revenue, and invite team members
• Teacher: Can edit lessons and content only (no access to student data or analytics)
• Editor: Can edit lessons and content, view students and analytics
• Viewer: Read-only access to dashboard (cannot modify anything)

4. Select the role you want to assign
5. They'll receive an email invitation to join

If they don't have an account, they'll be prompted to create one first. Invitations expire after 7 days for new users.

Team members only need a free tichr account to accept an invitation. They do not need a paid subscription to collaborate on your courses. Only the course owner needs an active plan.

Yes, but only to an existing Admin on your team. Go to the Team tab, click "Transfer" next to your name, select the new owner, and confirm with your password.

Warning: This action cannot be undone. You'll become an Admin after the transfer.

You can update your email address and password from your account settings. Changing your email will require verification of the new address before the change takes effect.

tichr works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, on desktop and mobile. Your student-facing course pages are fully responsive, so your students can complete lessons on any device.

Yes. All course content, student data, and landing pages are stored and backed up in the cloud. You don't need to manage hosting, storage, or backups yourself.

Yes. You can export your student list, including names, email addresses, enrollment dates, and progress data, from the student management panel at any time. Your data is yours.
